dodorama.nl and wormweb.nl, as archived
The web archive we hold is a run of separate captures, with gaps in the coverage of both sites. A capture date says when the Internet Archive saved a page. Dates on the page itself, and in its programme, say when the content applied. The account below keeps the two apart.
The Dodorama homepage
On 11 May 2000 the Internet Archive saved a homepage that describes Dodorama as a Rotterdam stage for current music and presents the Dodorama shop alongside it. The contact block gives Rochussenstraat 169 with its postcode, two telephone numbers, a fax number and an email address. The page carries an older update date of its own, so the capture cannot tell us when any of these details first or last applied.
The concert history
Dodorama's concert-history page, as captured, keeps monthly dated listings through part of 2000. It shows what the venue announced. On its own it cannot prove that every advertised event took place. A missing month is a gap in the surviving archive, not evidence that the room was inactive. The dated listings feed , where uncertain claims about venue and occurrence stay in plain view.
The WORM agendas
WORM was formed in 2000 from Dodorama, a film workshop and Popifilm. A capture of wormweb.nl from 2001 shows the new site, but it lists events at the corner together with an off-site programme and does not tag every entry with a venue. It is better evidence for how the website developed than for where any single event was held.
The agendas captured in 2002 and 2003 are clearer. An entry may read “WORM@Rochussenstraat 169,” may name a venue elsewhere, or may give no venue at all. In the capture of 24 February 2003, the Eddie Prévost Project on 8 March is billed as the “last concert at Rochussenstraat 169”. That is how the venue advertised it. It does not show independently that the concert happened, or that none followed.
What the captures do not settle
From these pages we have a published address, a trail of contact details and a large part of the venue's own programme. They give no complete calendar, no attendance record and no payroll. Accounts of who organised the venue rely mostly on later recollections, which weighs separately. The archived pages remain the copyright of their original publisher and are kept for local research; none is reproduced here as a publication-cleared plate.
