01How to reach us
This is the last page in the book, and the one that keeps it open. The history of a single building is never quite finished, and Giulio C. would rather hear that a statement is wrong than leave it standing.
The simplest way in is e-mail. Write to [email protected]. When the code and the data behind the site are made public, a correction will also be openable directly against the record it concerns, in the repository, but for now the e-mail is the address.
Messages are read by Giulio C. himself, not by a team, so a reply may be slow. That is the only promise the page makes: that a message with something in it will be read.

02What is welcome, and what is not
Some messages are worth far more than others, and it is fairer to say which in advance. A correction is most useful when it names the exact statement it disputes and gives a source, because that is what lets the change be checked rather than merely believed. Family material is welcome from anyone connected to the households or the firms on this site: a photograph, a letter, an object, the things that never reach an archive. A memory of the venue years is welcome too, offered as a memory and recorded as one, with the same label the rest of the site uses for what rests on a single account. And a pointer to an archive holding the project has missed is worth as much as any of these.
One kind of message will not be answered. Requests for personal data about living people, for the contact details of a family's descendants, or for anything the site withholds on purpose, are exactly what the publication gate exists to refuse, and the page refuses them too. Naming a living person here follows the same rule it does everywhere on the site: only in a documented public role, or with that person's recorded consent.
The handling of a good correction illustrates the whole method and needs to be explained plainly. A message becomes a proposal. The proposal is weighed against the statement already on record. If it is accepted, the record changes, and the old wording is kept beside the new one, as a superseded claim, rather than erased, so that the correction itself leaves a trace. A building read like a document stays open to a better reading, and that is why this page exists.

03Privacy on this site
Giulio C. runs this site and is responsible for it. You can reach him at [email protected].
The site sets no cookies, shows no ads and never sells your data. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which handles your IP address to deliver and protect the pages. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits and pages read, without cookies; Cloudflare says it does not fingerprint visitors or follow them across sites. The fonts come from this site itself. Your browser only remembers which menu you had open, until you close the tab.
All this rests on a legitimate interest: running the site, keeping it safe and knowing roughly how much it is read. Cloudflare may process data in the United States, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, and keeps its server data for the periods set in its own privacy policy.
If you write, Cloudflare forwards your e-mail to Giulio C.'s mailbox. He uses your e-mail to reply and to support the research, based on his legitimate interest in researching the history of this address. He keeps it while it is useful for that and deletes it when you ask.
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, ask to restrict its use, or object to its use. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
